A Relaxing Jungle Walk Followed by a Traditional Canoe Crossing

A Lovely Morning in the Tamblingan Jungle
I spent about 2.5 hours trekking with Moyo this morning through the jungle near Tamblingan Lake.
It was a nice and easy walk, which gave me plenty of time to enjoy the peaceful surroundings and the beautiful nature around the lake. The forest was calm and green, and it was a great way to spend the morning away from the busy tourist areas.
Moyo is a very kind person and a wonderful guide. He is talkative, smiling, and funny, with lots to say about Bali and Balinese people.
What I really appreciated was how much he wanted to share his knowledge with us. He was happy to explain things along the way and made the trek feel more like walking through the jungle with a local friend than simply following a tour guide.
His personality made the experience even more enjoyable.
The trek itself was quite easy and relaxing. Moyo guided us through the jungle near Tamblingan Lake, allowing us to enjoy the natural surroundings while learning more about the area.
I really enjoyed the slower pace and the opportunity to experience this beautiful part of Bali on foot.
Finishing the Trek with a Traditional Canoe Ride
The best surprise came at the end of the trek.
We finished our walk by crossing Tamblingan Lake in a traditional canoe, managed by a local fisherman. It was a beautiful way to end the experience and gave us another perspective of the lake and surrounding forest.
After walking through the jungle, sitting in the canoe and crossing the peaceful lake was a very memorable experience.
A Short Trek, but a Great Experience
This was not an overly difficult trek, which made it perfect for enjoying the scenery and taking time to talk with the guide.
Thanks to Moyo, we really enjoyed our short trek. His knowledge, sense of humour, and friendly personality made a simple jungle walk into a much more meaningful local experience.
