Welcome to Bali Local Tour Guide. By booking a tour or using our website, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before making a reservation.

1. About Us

Bali Local Tour Guide is a community of experienced local guides dedicated to providing authentic, safe, and memorable travel experiences throughout Bali, with a special focus on North Bali. Our tours are designed to showcase the island’s natural beauty, cultural heritage, local traditions, and hidden gems.

2. Booking Confirmation

A booking is considered confirmed once we receive your reservation request and send you a confirmation by email, WhatsApp, or another agreed communication channel.

For selected tours or multi-day packages, a deposit may be required to secure your booking. The remaining balance can be paid before or on the day of the tour, unless otherwise agreed.

3. Prices

All prices are stated in the currency shown on our website unless otherwise specified.

Tour prices may change without prior notice; however, confirmed bookings will always be charged at the agreed price stated in the booking confirmation.

4. Payment

We accept various payment methods, including:

• Cash (IDR or major foreign currencies)
• Bank Transfer
• Wise
• PayPal (if applicable)
• Other payment methods agreed upon before the tour

Any bank charges or payment processing fees are the responsibility of the customer unless otherwise stated.

5. Cancellation Policy

By the Customer

• More than 7 days before departure: Full refund of any deposit paid (excluding payment processing fees, if applicable).
• 3–7 days before departure: 50% refund.
• Less than 24 hours before departure: No refund.
• No-show on the tour date: No refund.

If you need to change your booking date, please contact us as early as possible. We will do our best to accommodate your request, subject to availability.

We reserve the right to cancel or modify a tour due to:

• Extreme weather conditions
• Natural disasters
• Government regulations
• Safety concerns
• Unexpected operational circumstances

If we cancel a tour, customers may choose between a full refund or rescheduling the tour for another available date.

6. Health and Fitness

Some tours involve trekking, hiking, swimming, or other outdoor activities.

Customers are responsible for ensuring they are physically fit to participate. Please inform us in advance of any medical conditions, allergies, injuries, disabilities, or dietary requirements that may affect your participation.

7. Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend that all guests obtain comprehensive travel insurance covering:

• Medical expenses
• Personal accidents
• Trip cancellations
• Personal belongings
• Adventure activities where applicable

8. Customer Responsibilities

Guests are expected to:

• Follow the instructions of guides and drivers.
• Respect local customs, traditions, and religious sites.
• Wear appropriate clothing when visiting temples.
• Protect the environment by avoiding littering or damaging nature.
• Behave respectfully toward local communities and fellow travelers.

Bali Local Tour Guide reserves the right to refuse service to anyone whose behavior endangers others or significantly disrupts the tour.

9. Weather Conditions

Most tours operate in various weather conditions. In the event that weather makes an activity unsafe, we may adjust the itinerary, postpone the activity, or cancel the tour for safety reasons.

10. Liability

While we make every effort to provide safe and enjoyable experiences, Bali Local Tour Guide shall not be held liable for:

• Personal injury resulting from risks inherent in travel or outdoor activities.
• Loss, theft, or damage of personal belongings.
• Delays caused by traffic, weather, ferry schedules, road closures, or events beyond our control.
• Costs resulting from missed flights or other travel connections due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Participation in our tours is at your own risk.

11. Photography

During tours, our guides may take photographs or videos for promotional purposes. If you prefer not to appear in any promotional materials, please inform your guide before the tour begins.

12. Privacy

We respect your privacy. Personal information collected during the booking process is used solely to arrange your tour, communicate with you, and improve our services. We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties except where necessary to provide the booked services or comply with legal requirements.

13. Force Majeure

Bali Local Tour Guide shall not be responsible for cancellations, delays, or service interruptions caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, volcanic eruptions, pandemics, government restrictions, political unrest, transportation disruptions, or severe weather.

14. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice. The latest version published on our website will apply to all future bookings.
