Today 18 Aug 2026, we had the pleasure of taking 7 adventurous guests from Ubud to Sambangan Village, North Bali, for an exciting day of jungle trekking and waterfall exploration with our local guide team.
We started our journey from Ubud and arrived in Sambangan at around 10:00 AM. From there, the adventure began as we explored the lush tropical jungle and discovered the famous Blue Lagoon and four beautiful waterfalls hidden within Sambangan’s natural landscape.
The highlight of the day was definitely the waterfall adventure. Our guests had the chance to experience the famous natural slide at Kroya Waterfall, followed by an exciting 5-meter cliff jump into the refreshing natural pool below.
They were brave enough to take on the 5-meter jump, but when it came to the 10-meter and 15-meter jumps, they decided to say, “Maybe next time!” 😄 And that’s completely fine—adventure should always be about having fun and feeling comfortable with your own limits.
What made the day even more special was seeing the smiles and excitement on everyone’s faces throughout the experience. After trekking through the jungle, swimming in the waterfalls, sliding down the rocks, and enjoying the natural surroundings, all of our guests finished the adventure feeling happy and satisfied.
Our original Sambangan Medium Trekking Package also includes an opportunity to meet local people and experience the traditional rice fields of Sambangan Village. However, on this occasion, one of our guests was experiencing some physical discomfort, so the group decided to skip this part of the itinerary and focus on enjoying the waterfall adventure at a comfortable pace.
For us, this is what being a true local guide is all about—not simply following an itinerary, but listening to our guests, understanding their needs, and making sure everyone enjoys the experience safely and comfortably.
From the journey from Ubud to the hidden jungle of Sambangan, to the Blue Lagoon, four waterfalls, natural slides, and a 5-meter jump, today was another beautiful reminder of why we love showing visitors the real adventure side of Bali.
