If there was one experience we would recommend to everyone visiting Bali, it would be this incredible Waterfall Adventure Tour with Bali Local Tour Guide. From the very first pickup until we arrived back at our accommodation, every part of the day was perfectly organised and filled with unforgettable moments.
The adventure began with private hotel pickup, making everything easy and stress-free. Our driver arrived exactly on time and immediately made us feel welcome with his friendly smile and warm personality.
What impressed us most was how genuinely caring he was.
During the journey, he noticed that I had a cough. Without us asking, he stopped and bought me some Strepsils to help soothe my throat. It was such a small gesture, but it perfectly reflected the kindness and genuine hospitality that we experienced throughout the entire day. It wasn’t just good customer service—it felt like travelling with someone who truly cared about our wellbeing.
After arriving at the starting point, we met our trekking guide, Putu—easily recognisable by his impressive tattoos and his even more impressive sense of humour.
From the very beginning, Putu made the entire experience fun, relaxed, and enjoyable. His energy was infectious, and it quickly became clear that he loved sharing the beautiful nature of North Bali with visitors.
The trek led us through lush tropical rainforest, crystal-clear rivers, and a series of spectacular waterfalls hidden deep within the jungle.
Every waterfall seemed even more beautiful than the last.
One of the things we appreciated most was that there was absolutely no pressure throughout the day. Some waterfalls offered exciting opportunities to jump from cliffs or slide down natural rock formations into deep pools. While these activities looked incredibly fun, they were always presented as optional.
Putu carefully explained each activity, made sure everyone felt safe, and completely respected each person’s comfort level. Whether someone wanted to jump from the cliffs, simply swim in the pools, or relax beside the waterfalls taking photographs, every choice was welcomed.
That relaxed approach made the adventure enjoyable for everyone in our group.
One of the absolute highlights of the day was swimming in the beautiful Blue Lagoon Nature Pool.
The crystal-clear turquoise water, surrounded by lush rainforest and dramatic cliffs, created a setting that looked almost too beautiful to be real. Floating peacefully in the refreshing water while surrounded by untouched nature became one of our favourite memories from the entire holiday.
Another thing that made this tour stand out was the flexible schedule.
Unlike many organised tours where every stop feels rushed, here we were encouraged to enjoy each location at our own pace. If we wanted to spend extra time swimming, relaxing, or taking photographs, that was never a problem. There was no feeling of being hurried from one place to the next, allowing us to truly appreciate every waterfall and every moment.
By the end of the day, we realised that what made this adventure so exceptional wasn’t only the stunning scenery—it was the people.
Our attentive driver went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable throughout the journey, while Putu combined professionalism, local knowledge, patience, and a fantastic sense of humour to create an unforgettable experience.
Their genuine care and hospitality transformed what could have been a simple sightseeing trip into one of the best experiences of our entire Bali holiday.
If you’re looking for an adventure that combines hidden waterfalls, rainforest trekking, swimming in crystal-clear natural pools, optional cliff jumping, flexible pacing, and outstanding local guides, we cannot recommend this tour highly enough.
