After taking in the incredible scenery, we enjoyed a simple but delicious mountain breakfast while relaxing at the summit and appreciating the cool morning air.
Continuing the Adventure to Bali’s Beautiful Waterfalls
Rather than ending after the volcano hike, the adventure continued into the lush tropical landscapes of North Bali.
Our guide led us to beautiful waterfalls hidden among dense rainforest, where we could enjoy a completely different side of Bali’s natural beauty. After the rocky volcanic trails of Mount Batur, walking through green jungle, listening to flowing rivers, and feeling the refreshing mist from the waterfalls created the perfect balance for the day.
It was wonderful to experience both Bali’s volcanic landscapes and its tropical rainforest in a single adventure.
A Comfortable Journey Throughout the Day
After completing the morning hike, we were completely exhausted.
Looking back, we realised just how much work our driver had done behind the scenes. While we were climbing the volcano and exploring the waterfalls, he spent almost the entire day making sure everything ran smoothly, always arriving exactly where we needed him.
After such an active day, it was incredibly comforting to return to our comfortable private vehicle, where we could simply relax and enjoy the journey back.
We were especially grateful for his patience, safe driving, and friendly attitude throughout such a long day.
Authentic Balinese Hospitality
Another highlight of the experience was the opportunity to enjoy authentic local cuisine.
Both breakfast and lunch were included, giving us the chance to taste traditional Balinese food while experiencing the warm hospitality that Bali is famous for. Rather than feeling like a commercial tourist excursion, the entire day felt personal and authentic.
