The Tamblingan jungle trekking and canoe experience with Bali Local Tour Guide was one of the highlights of our Bali trip. From the beginning to the end, the experience felt authentic, peaceful, and full of beautiful moments in nature.
Our local guide was fantastic and incredibly knowledgeable about the plants, wildlife, jungle, and Balinese culture. Along the trail, she continuously pointed out interesting details that we would probably have missed if we had explored the jungle on our own. She even made little plant crowns and figures for us, which was such a thoughtful touch and made the experience even more memorable.
Exploring Bali’s Ancient Jungle
The trekking trail was mostly flat, well maintained, and safe, making it a great option for families with children or travelers looking for a more relaxed jungle adventure. There were a few more challenging sections where we had to climb over fallen trees, but these moments simply added a little adventure to the journey.
Walking through the lush tropical jungle was an incredible experience. One of the highlights was seeing ancient trees that are believed to be hundreds of years old, some reaching around 900 years. Standing beside these enormous trees and learning about the natural environment from a local guide gave us a much deeper appreciation for Bali’s forests.
A Peaceful Canoe Ride Across the Lake
After exploring the jungle, we continued our adventure with a traditional canoe ride across one of Bali’s four beautiful lakes.
The canoe ride was the perfect way to finish the day. Our local guides did the rowing, allowing us to simply sit back, relax, and enjoy the peaceful scenery surrounding the lake. With the mountains, jungle, and calm water around us, it was a wonderful opportunity to slow down and appreciate Bali’s natural beauty.
