From the very beginning, Putu made us feel completely welcome.
Everything throughout the day was perfectly organized, allowing us to simply relax and enjoy the experience.
What immediately stood out was his passion for sharing his home village. Rather than simply leading us along a walking trail, he introduced us to the history, traditions, and daily life of the local community.

Discovering the Beauty of Rural Bali
Our journey took us through the spectacular rice terraces and peaceful countryside surrounding Mayong Village.
The scenery was breathtaking.

After our morning walk, we were invited to enjoy lunch prepared by Putu’s wife.

Traditional Balinese dishes were served generously, with more than enough food for everyone.
Every bite reflected the authentic flavours of North Bali and the care that had gone into preparing it.
Sharing a home-cooked meal with a local family was one of the highlights of the entire day.
It wasn’t simply lunch—it was an opportunity to experience genuine Balinese hospitality.

Even after returning home, we found ourselves smiling as we looked back through the hundreds of photos we had taken during the day.

It was a chance to experience the heart of rural Bali through the eyes of someone who truly loves his village.
