Jengki has been part of the Bali Local Tour Guide team since 2023, specializing in Tamblingan Jungle Hiking and Twin Lake Trekking. He is a young local guide from Gobleg Village, a community with a deep connection to the forests and natural landscapes surrounding Lake Tamblingan and Lake Buyan.
Before becoming a local trekking guide, Jengki spent several years working in South Bali. After becoming tired of the busy life away from his hometown, he decided to return to Gobleg and join our local guide team.
Now that he is married, working as a local guide allows Jengki to stay close to his family, continue farming, and remain connected to his village. For him, this way of life offers a meaningful balance between work, family, and the natural environment he knows so well.
A Local Guide Who Knows the Forest
Jengki has a strong understanding of the forest around Lake Tamblingan and the Twin Lakes area. Like our other local guides, his knowledge comes from living in the community and spending time in the surrounding natural environment.
During the trek, he can help you understand the forest, local surroundings, and the different landscapes you encounter along the trail. His local experience allows you to explore the jungle with someone who is genuinely familiar with the area.
