Mount Batur
Mount Batur is one of Bali’s most iconic and active volcanoes, located in the beautiful Kintamani region. Standing at 1,717 meters (5,633 feet) above sea level, it is famous for its breathtaking sunrise views, stunning volcanic landscapes, and panoramic views of Lake Batur, making it one of the island’s most popular trekking destinations.
The early morning trek takes approximately 2–3 hours to reach the summit, following well-established trails through volcanic terrain. As the sun rises above the horizon, you’ll witness spectacular views of Mount Agung, Mount Abang, Lake Batur, and, on clear mornings, even Mount Rinjani on the neighboring island of Lombok.
